So I saw the Katy Perry movie the other day and it was AMAZING!!! I love Katy even more now! 
I was inspired by the movie to make a dress for the song "Firework" which would actually light up. I also imagine that the "fireworks" would be animated to look like the fireworks are actually going off. Is this possible...? I don't know! ha ha

Four years late, I know, but I believe that your "animation" idea is well within the realm of possibility--the strands of lights inside the dress could be programmed to light up in sequence, which would look like they were spreading outward. Lovely design, I would make this if I had the skills.
