Gothel-Color Test

Oh, Mother Gothel...I absolutely love her! She is a great character, has a stunning design (love the hair), and Donna Murphy's voice is one of the most memorable parts of the film! She's deliciously wicked!

So yeah, I've been drawing ALOT since the movie came out but I haven't gotten around to clean-up and coloring yet! Also I can't post alot of the pictures because of spoilers...But there is one piece in particular that I am working on that I am very proud of...So maybe once the movie has been out for a while I'll post it!

I've studied alot of Gothel conept art and videos to get a feel for how to draw her. I've realized that when it comes to her hair: simple shapes NOT alot of squiggles is the best way for me to draw Gothel in my style.
