The deliciously wicked Mother Gothel!

Finally have alot of reference from her (not alot of movie footage yet, tho.) I would imagie she's one of the harder characters to animate because of her AMAZING textured, curl hair and, as I read in an interview, because the character is very expressive with her hands which makes animating the sleeves difficult.

Anyway, November 24th can't come fast enough...

Awesome work! Wow, you really have great attention to detail - the sleeves, the belt on the dress, even the earrings. And the expression is so totally her - all vain and superior-like. Personally, I think Mother Gothel's has to be one of the best villians that Disney has come up with in a while.

The new Disney Villains look really younge rin my eyes. Dr. Facilier wasn't really old for me. Just like Nerissa. And also she looks quit young.Well... for a villain.
