The deliciously wicked Mother Gothel!

Finally have alot of reference from her (not alot of movie footage yet, tho.) I would imagie she's one of the harder characters to animate because of her AMAZING textured, curl hair and, as I read in an interview, because the character is very expressive with her hands which makes animating the sleeves difficult.

Anyway, November 24th can't come fast enough...

Woah! Wonderful!

Agreed, plus her age changes(the youth thing with the hair..)..must be really intense animation with this movie. Most characters have something complex to them, Pixar is amazing like that! :)

What I like the most about Gothel's design is that she doesn't look evil right away. I mean sure, she has black hair and wears darker colors in comparison to Rapunzel, but she isn't as obvious as Ursula, Maleficent and Cruella. She seems to be an interesting villain and can't wait to see how she is developed in the movie.
