What was Christine thinking at this point (of no return)? I've always found this moment fascinating, so much happens in so little time...The Phantom really confesses his love and Christine betrays him...and then the most dramatic finale EVER comences! I cry every time when I listen to the final lair scene...
ANYWAY...This was brought about by a disscusion at work about Gerard Butler vs. Michale Crawford. I'm on the Crawford side...haha HE IS THE PHANTOM! THIS IS THE PHANTOM...hideous...mad...yet somehow loveable...
More Phantom illustrations to come...or are there? haha

I mean think about it. That scream he let out depicts that important mask of his, which provided his only source of cloaking for his distorted face, has come off and now the whole audience can look at it. A face he never wanted to be known for...
I hate to say it, but to refrence Austin Powers, he looks like he's been beaten with an ugly stick.
Their expressions are so great! just Wow!
And I am on the Gerard Butler side myself, but I grew up listening to MC. We wouldn't have Phantom if it weren't for him in the first place, he is pretty talented and set the standard for other phantoms.
(my parents actually have a music box of MC, just a random fact...)
